Guernsey 26 June 1998 Dear Roger, Laura and I would like to send you our greatest appreciation and thanks for the professional architectural plans that you created for us. We feel that we were given the best possible assistance and attention to detail in creating our new home. As you well know, a home reflects the personalities of its inhabitants. Looking at the design of a house speaks volumes about the homeowners. We came to you with a vision in mind. We had a dream that needed to be worked into a concrete three-dimensional structure. And this was not any structure, but a life long investment in our future. Some people see a dwelling as a place to eat, sleep, and carry on the life's day-to-day activities. Laura and I see the house that you and your firm designed for us, a place for us to carry on our life's work: to tend the environment, to raise children, to make guests happy. We have realized that dream resulting directly from your hard work. You were able to listen to us and mold our thoughts into an unbelievable dwelling. And, I can assure you that we are not the only ones who think this. We constantly see people at the top of our driveway peering at our house in wonder. We are stopped constantly when we cut the grass and told by our neighbors what a nice house we have. We wish that you would share this letter with all of the staff at Guernsey-Tingle Architects. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us a beautiful piece of artwork that we can call our very own. The late nights that you spent designing our house did not go to waste. Please feel free to drop by at your leisure to see how we are progressing with the landscaping and other secondary projects. We would love to see you. This letter can't begin to convey the joy that we are feeling about our house. All we can do is offer you sincere thanks. We are thankful that we found a group of architects who could put a shared vision on paper as well as you. Sincerely,
Laura and Barney Tormey
