This clubhouse is designed to compliment the surrounding natural environment within this planned mixed-use community. The building consists of a one story Arts and Crafts style front façade and a two story rear façade with large deck overlooking the outdoor pool and activity area. Exterior blends to interior with the transition of natural finishes used in the spacious club room, workout room, and supporting spaces.

The renovation of this recreation facility includes a significant interior redesign to incorporate a spin room, sauna, and massage room. The redesign also incorporates an expansive architectural glazed wall at the corner of the building façade to enhance the interior natural lighting.

Confederate Hills Recreation Center

The adaptive re-use of this 1925 Tudor style Locomotive Club breathed new life into the rundown structure. The removal of various additions which had been added to the building over the years allowed the building's distinctive gables to direct the design of the renovated community center.

Fawn Lake Pro Shop and Golf Cart Storage

Though small, this 4,500 square foot facility makes a big impact with its stone façade, wrap-around porch, and arched colonnade. Large windows and a cupola also enhance the pro shop and cart storage areas with natural light.

York County Boys & Girls Club

The York River Academy and Boys & Girls Club is a 24,800 sq ft addition designed to blend with the existing Yorktown Middle School. Classrooms, an art lab, computer lab, teen center, game room, café, and a full size gymnasium with stage were finished with bright and engaging colors.
