Chesapeake Bank has been a client and partner of GuernseyTingle since 1985 when we designed their headquarters in Virginia’s Northern Neck. Since then, our partnership has lead to the design of numerous new and renovated retail branches, an operations center, a data center, their merchant card division (Chesapeake Payment Systems) headquarters, receivable financing (Chesapeake CashFlow) division headquarters, and asset management (Chesapeake Wealth Management) headquarters as well as multiple other renovations and additions across their collection of retail and corporate locations.

In keeping with Chesapeake Bank’s theme of “it’s all about community,” the Bank has frequently entered new markets by repurposing older and obsolete buildings and revitalizing the areas around them.  We have helped the Bank creatively approach these structures, blending their corporate identity within the context of the neighborhoods they serve.

Over the last three decades, Chesapeake Bank has grown from a small community bank to a significant financial institution serving retail customers from Richmond to the Chesapeake Bay.  GuernseyTingle is proud to have been one of the Bank’s partners and prime design consultants over that thirty-year period.
