Across the Board: Introducing the Principals
GuernseyTingle has operated under a shared leadership structure for the past decade. In 2024, the firm officially introduced the leadership team and principals who will continue to lead the firm following Tom Tingle’s retirement in January.
With a combined 169 years of architectural and management experience, these professionals stand ready to build upon the firm’s legacy. The leadership team embraces the five pillars of GuernseyTingle’s success – the colleagues, clients, contractors, consultants and community who have been integral to the firm’s values, vision and longevity.

Dawn Hassan has 24 years of experience in financial management and earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Old Dominion University as well as her Master of Education in Counseling from William & Mary. Her role focuses on Finance Management and Human Resources.
The GuernseyTingle leadership team is honored to guide the company over the coming years and continue growing the firm with community and collaboration in mind. Outside of the office, all of the firm’s team members share a dedication to the Williamsburg community, supporting and serving in leadership roles for multiple charitable organizations.
By continuing to focus on the five core pillars – “the five C’s” – GuernseyTingle has grown to become a leader in a team-build design philosophy, emphasizing collaboration and client success.
