GuernseyTingle Part of Award-Winning IAAPA Team
At its most recent annual meeting, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) honored the design team that brought “Oscar’s Wacky Taxi” to life with a prestigious Brass Ring Award. GuernseyTingle’s creative team partnered with consultants at Sesame Workshop and SeaWorld Entertainment to develop the scenic and built environment, making this new Gravity Group coaster one of the most immersive attractions to date at Sesame Place Theme Park in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Oscar’s Wacky Taxi was the first new coaster in the park since 1998 and is one of the largest attractions built in its 37-year history. The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards are presented annually to amusement parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, family entertainment centers and suppliers from around the world to honor excellence in food and beverage, games and retail, human resources, live entertainment, marketing, new products, and exhibits.
GuernseyTingle is in its 36th year of business and is proud to be a long-term partner with SeaWorld Entertainment both at its Williamsburg-based Busch Gardens and Water Country USA parks; as well as its Texas, Florida, and Pennsylvania theme parks.
