Michael Creasy, AIA Named Vice President of Central Virginia’s Society of American Military Engineers
GuernseyTingle Vice President Michael Creasy, AIA was inducted as Vice President of the Central Virginia Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). The prestigious appointment highlights Creasy’s commitment to the architecture, engineering, and construction industry and his dedication to fostering collaboration between military and the design community.
Creasy joined GuernseyTingle in 2015 and manages the firm’s federal installation projects, working closely with general contractors and serving as the Project Manager on Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build contracts. He has managed design efforts for projects with Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia, Fort Moore near Columbus, Georgia, Fort Gregg-Adams in Hopewell, Virginia, and the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown, Virginia.
Prior to GuernseyTingle, Creasy served the United States Air Force as a Health Care Facilities Officer, where he designed medical facilities around the world. He also has significant experience working with residential developers, homeowners, churches, and healthcare facilities, among other projects.
Creasy has been a member of SAME for several years. In his new role as Vice President of SAME’s Central Virginia Post, Creasy will be responsible for advancing the organization’s mission to build leaders and bridge gaps between the needs of the Department of Defense and the broader construction community. He will work closely with SAME members to develop programs, facilitate knowledge sharing, and promote professional development opportunities for workers at all levels.
