Picnics, Pups & Purpose: Inside Our Summer Culture
At GuernseyTingle, we believe strong foundations aren’t just built on job sites—they’re built in how we support one another, connect with our communities, and create a workplace culture that people genuinely enjoy being part of.
This summer has been a reminder of that.
We kicked things off with an office garden refresh, where team members came together to weed, replant, and add a little color to our outdoor space. It was a simple but meaningful way to step away from the desk and invest in something that everyone can enjoy.
We also spent a day volunteering at a local animal shelter, helping pack race-day bags for their upcoming 5K fundraiser. Supporting causes we care about is a core part of who we are—and this hands-on effort brought a lot of joy to our team and theirs.
Back at the office, our annual staff picnic was a highlight of the season. BBQ, giant Jenga, kids and babies laughing on the lawn—it was a day that perfectly reflected our community-focused culture. And of course, Fridays have gotten a little furrier with our “Dog Days of Summer,” where team members are invited to bring their pups in for a little tail-wagging fun.
This summer, we didn’t just build projects—we built memories, too.
