Welcoming the Next Generation: Our Company’s Baby Boom

Exciting news is sweeping through our workplace – we’re experiencing a baby boom!

Over the past few months, we’ve been joyfully witnessing a significant increase in the number of storks flying by our office windows, carrying bundles of joy to our colleagues. (While other colleagues have decided to avoid the water at the office…just in case.)

It’s no secret that GuernseyTingle is like a second home for many of us. We celebrate victories together, support each other through challenges, and now, we’re embarking on an exciting new journey together – parenthood.

One of our principals, Amanda Running, and her husband welcomed their 3rd child and 1st daughter, Lachlan in October of 2023. Erika Quarles and her husband welcomed their first child, Arthur, when he made his appearance April of this year. Nikki O’Regan and her husband are anticipating the arrival of their first child, Emerald Jeanne, in July. Taylor Dvorak-Steidel and her husband are expecting their first child in October and are excited to keep the gender a surprise until their little one’s arrival. And lastly (for now!), Tom Jardim and his wife are expecting their 4th child in October and will find out their baby’s gender then!

As we welcome these newest members of our extended family, we also embrace the changes that come with them. Flexible work arrangements, parental leave policies, and supportive initiatives are all part of ensuring that our colleagues can thrive both personally and professionally during this special time in their lives.

While some of us may be experiencing a surge in diaper changes and late-night feedings, we’re also witnessing the boundless joy and unconditional love that comes with parenthood. These little ones remind us of the importance of cherishing the moments, embracing the unexpected, and finding beauty in the chaos.

To all our colleagues who are embarking on this incredible journey of parenthood, we extend our heartfelt congratulations. Your growing families bring light and happiness to our workplace, and we’re honored to be a part of this chapter in your lives.
