Nate Bennett
Architectural Designer
“When we care about other people as much as ourselves, and listen more than we control, that is where Good design happens.”
Nate is a creator and detailed thinker with a drive for architectural design and hands-on construction. He seeks to uphold human dignity and the functional and aesthetic beauty of architecture.
The Virginia Tech graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture degree joined GuernseyTingle in 2023 after graduation and summer internship in Nepal with 100 Fold Studio, an organization focused on providing affordable and innovative architectural services to global ministries
While at Virginia Tech, Nate travelled to Mexico for a study abroad program at the CASA (Center for Architecture Sustainability + Art) where he immersed himself, analytically observing his environment in a foreign culture while designing architecture. Later that same summer, Nate traveled to the mountains of Vermont to participate in a week-long design-build project for Habitat for Humanity and the Mountain Design Assembly.
In 2022, Nate completed an internship with Alloy Workshop, practicing architecture and construction in the office and the field for an award-winning design-build firm while earning academic credit.
