GuernseyTingle Named Among Best Architecture Firms by Virginia Living

Virginia Living magazine recently honored GuernseyTingle among the best architecture firms in the Eastern Region following the results of a readers’ survey.

“The GuernseyTingle team is proud to have earned this recognition from Virginia Living magazine, as it reflects the input of our clients and people in the communities where we work and live,” said GuernseyTingle President Tom Tingle, AIA.

The tenth annual Best of Virginia issue lists nearly 1,500 winners from the magazine’s Readers’ Survey conducted in January. More than 50,000 ballots were cast across 111 categories, covering the best in Living & Recreation, Food & Drink, Shopping, and Services across the Commonwealth.

The results were published in the Best of Virginia 2021 special issue in May.

The Best of Virginia recognition is the latest in a series of awards earned by the Williamsburg-based firm. In 2020, GuernseyTingle was named one of the Best Places to Work in Virginia by Virginia Business magazine. That same year, the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) also awarded the GuernseyTingle and Henderson, Inc. team a National Award of Merit for the St. Bede Catholic Church Expansion in James City County, VA.
